An Interesting Poetic Experiment
1. Select an instrumental piece of music that runs for at least 3:30, and have it on standby. (It probably helps to have some familiarity with the music).
2. Set yourself up in a dark room with a computer.
3. Open up a fresh document in a word processor.
4. Play the instrumental piece. Let it speak to you for a few seconds.
5. Start writing a free-verse poem that has a similar mood to the...
